Key Functions of the SMC

Academic & Attendance Monitoring

Reviews daily student attendance, monitors retention rates, oversees Physics Wallah (PW) competitive coaching, and ensures teacher punctuality.

Grant Auditing & Development Plan

Formulates the 3-Year School Development Plan (SDP) and transparently approves all government grant expenditures on smart labs and sports.

Mid-Day Meal & Bus Fleet Safety

Performs unannounced inspections of the midday meal kitchen, tests water purity, and audits CCTV & GPS logs of all 6 school buses.

Infrastructure & Maintenance Oversight

Reviews infrastructure grants, sanctions repairs, and approves construction activity on campus including labs, classrooms, and sports grounds.

Community & Parent Engagement

Organizes parent-teacher meetings, community awareness drives, and ensures grievance redressal for parents and students.

RTE Compliance & Equity

Ensures full compliance with the Right to Education Act 2009, including enrolment of disadvantaged children and zero dropout policy.
